Today I Learned... About the Faults of US Healthcare

Our country needs to fix the way we go about healthcare. Compared to other countries, our healthcare is incomplete. Most other developed countries have healthcare for all, like Canada, but the United States only offers healthcare to the poor or to the old. However, there are many people who don't fit into those categories, including those who still can't afford it but don't qualify for Medicaid. They are over twenty million people in the United States, who do not have healthcare.

The United States , as a government, doesn't invest a lot into healthcare as much as other countries, so that is why our healthcare is not as good. Our country has a lot of money invested into healthcare, more than other countries, but it is mostly private investments by private companies. The United States needs to follow the other countries and the route that they take to improve the system. We need nationwide healthcare, or at least take a step towards it.
