Today I Learned... About the Popularity of Vaping

Juul, an e-cigarette company, has gained major steam in the past few years. Everyday, you can find people vaping in public, including schools. When I go to the bathroom between classes, all of the stalls are full and there are lines to use them to vape. It is illegal in schools because they contain nicotine, but it is so widespread that administrators don't try to stop it.

Juuls are the size of usb flashdrives and contain rechargable batteries. Many teenagers are getting addicted to the nicotine and can no longer control themselves. Nicotine can raise blood pressure, increase blood clots, and more. It is quite crazy how all the teenagers have these especially because it is illegal to sell e-cigs to minors.
