Today I Learned... About the Tear Gassing on the Hong Kong Citizens

In the recent weeks, the Hong Kong citizens have been protesting against China's government to be able to continue to have their own autonomy. Over 438,000 Hong Kong citizens were there fighting for their freedom. What first started out as a peaceful protest turned into spray painting messages and throwing items at the police. China's government had enough of this and start to use tear gas on them. There were also some Chinese that were found to have explosives before it was confiscated by the Hong Kong authorities. Seeing the Chinese in their gas masks and tear gassing thousands of Hong Kongers was a devastating sight to see. It touched many people's hearts around the world and the movement for Hong Kong judicial freedom gained more strength. I hope Hong Kong continues to fight for their rights and that they get what they deserve.
