Today I Watched... A Documentary About the City With No Rules

As a person who is constantly searching through YouTube to find new, interesting stuff, I stumbled across this video that showed this city, Slab City, that had zero rules. Yeah. Zero rules. No government or anything. Slab City, Los Angeles was originally a war base during World War II, but was abandoned after that. It is an off-grid area in the middle of the desert where people are free to do whatever they want. It is filled with a bunch of random artworks and people who don't want to live in the constraints of a regular city.

In the documentary, the people who lived there seemed to be a little bit on the rough side, but they all seemed very happy. It is a cool idea in theory, but it is necessary to have rules to keep everyone and everything in order. Otherwise there would be chaos. Only a few people could live in an area without rules and not go insane, unless they already are insane.
