Today I Watched... the Presidential Debates

Understanding politics of our country and all of the candidates is something that interests me. I want to be able to know what's going on, so I can be able to form my own opinion about the state of our country. Out of the debate, there was one thing that really stood out to me: the healthcare. Yesterday, when asked, all the Democratic candidates said that they would like to have universal healthcare for all, including those who are illegal immigrants. Donald Trump thought that was crazy and used it as a point of attack. He thought that we, as a country, should try to serve the real Americans first. I do think having a national healthcare is very important, because it would benefit the country as a whole. However, it would be very expensive to do this on top of having Medicare and Medicaid. All 3 of these are too expensive for our country to maintain altogether. Personally, I am a Republican, but I do not support Trump. I am conservative amongst most regards, but for healthcare, I am far left. We NEED healthcare for all and we are the only developed country to not have this already. we need to step it up and ensure that all of the citizens can get their treatment they need because their lives can rely on it.
